Timothy P. Scott, 52, of Waldron, passed away Monday, March 17, 2014, at Major Hospital.

He was born July 9, 1961, to William P. Scott and Donna Sue Firsich Scott in Shelby County.

Survivors include his mother, Donna Scott and loving companion, Floyd Conover, of Bloomington; children, Ryan Scott, Jeffrey Scott and Joshua Scott, all of Bloomington; mother of his children, Michele Scott of Bloomington; sister, Tamara Valery and husband, Juan, of Bloomington; and two nephews, Trevor Willis and Tanner Willis.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Mr. Scott lived in the Waldron area for 15 years, after moving there from Bloomington.

He graduated from Edgewood High School.

He was employed by National Automotive working in online sales for two years. Previously he had been a mechanic for most of his life.

He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.

Mr. Scott was a former member of the Shelby Community Band.

He loved music, telling jokes and making people laugh.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, March 21, 2014, at Glenn E. George & Son Funeral Home, 437 Amos Road, Shelbyville, IN 46176.

Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with Father Aaron Pfaff officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association in care of the funeral home.

Donna, Tammy and families, My prayers and thoughts go with you today and in the time following. I always looked forward to my evenings at your little house, so long ago. I know you will keep Tim's joyfulness in your memories as a lasting tribute to his life.
