Sharon R. Anderson

Sharon Rene (Huzzie) Anderson, 53, passed away on Monday September 4, 2017 at her residence.

She was born June 25, 1964 to L.J. and Anna (Reynolds) Huzzie in Shelbyville.

She is survived by her companion Scott Warner of Carmel, mother Anna Huzzie of Waldron, son Kyle Corley of Shelbyville, daughter Kelly (husband Joe) Hansford of Shelbyville, sister Lanna ( husband David) Gordy of Waldron, brother Jason (wife Jennifer) Huzzie of Hereford AZ, grandsons Ryan Richey of Shelbyville, Colten Corley of Fairland, Eljay Hansford of Shelbyville, granddaughters Taylor Richey of Shelbyville, Madison Scott of Shelbyville; nieces Heidi Dove of Hereford, AZ, Jayna (fiancé Branden Britt) Sheaffer of Waldron, Alayna (husband Tyler) Kramer of Manilla, nephew Dakota Huzzie of Shelbyville, 2 great nephews Tommy Kramer and Theo Kramer of Manilla. Sharon is also survived by her Bff, Naomi Vinson of Shelbyville and several uncles, aunts, and cousins. She is also survived by Scott’s parents Bill and Linda Warner of Mishawaka, IN.

Sharon was preceded in death by her father L.J. Huzzie, maternal grandparents Robert and Lizzie (Price) Reynolds; paternal grandparents Lester and Leona (Reeves) Huzzie; and nephew Wesley Dove.

Sharon was a resident of this area for 30 years after living previously in Madison, Indiana and Carmel, Indiana.

She worked in hospitality management for over 30 years, retiring in 2016.

She graduated from Shelbyville Baptist Academy, and was a member of the Faith Baptist Church in Fairland and also Shelbyville Baptist Temple.

She loved attending dirt track racing with her companion Scott, catfishing, but most of all spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Services will be held on Monday, September 11, 2017 at 1:00 pm at Glenn E. George and Son Funeral Home with the Rev. Bob Prather officiating.

Visitation will be on Sunday, September 10, 2017 from 4 – 8:00 pm. at the funeral home.

Burial will be at Forest Hill Cemetery in Shelbyville.

Memorial donations may be made to the Little Red Door Cancer Agency in care of the funeral home.
