Ruby (Wheeler) Mohr, 90, former Shelbyville resident, passed away Thursday, January 18, 2018 at Fairfield Place
in Fairfield, Ohio.
Born May 24, 1927 in Russell Springs, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Jonah Tucker and Erva (Sullivan) Tucker.
She married Billy Wheeler on December 10, 1949 and he passed away on April 12, 1988. She then married Bill
Mohr on August 27, 1994 and he preceded her on April 19, 2005.
Survivors include a son Greg Wheeler (wife Judy) of Liberty Township, Ohio; and grandchildren- Nathan Wheeler (wife Stephanie), Josh Wheeler,
Jeremy Wheeler, Lisa Emerich (husband Lee), Billy Wheeler, Amy Herrick (husband Michael), Jennifer Wheeler,
Ryon Wheeler (wife Lara), Deanna Wheeler; and 16 great- great grandchildren.. She was preceded
in death by her parents, 2 spouses, son Billy Wheeler, son Jeff Wheeler; a brother Omar Tucker and sister Opal West.
Mrs. Mohr had lived in Shelbyville since 1945, after moving from Kentucky. She had been a factory worker at TRW Cinch
in Shelbyville for several years, and also had been employed at Harrison Cafe for several years. She was a member of
Grace Wesleyan Church.
Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Thursday, January 25, 2018 at Grace Wesleyan Church, 56 East Franklin St., with Rev.
Harvey Weaver officiating. Friends may call at the church on Thursday from 11:00 am until the time of the service. Burial
will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
Memorial contributions can be made to Alzheimer’s Association, American Diabetes Association, or Shelby County
Cancer Association, in care of the funeral home.
