Richard Le Clerc
Richard A. Leclercq, 76, of Shelbyville, passed away May 30, 2017 at Johnson Memorial Hospital in Franklin.
Born July 27, 1940 in Terre Haute, he was the son of Russell R. and Pauline (Davis) Leclercq. He married
Shirley Ann Leclercq in 1961 and she survives.
Other survivors include children- Richard R. Leclercq (wife Cynthia) of Shelbyville, Ronald A. Leclerecq of
Chicago, Kimberly Rusnak (husband William) of Illinois, Danielle Greenlee (husband Corey) of Shelbyville;
brother- Jim Leclercq of Shelbyville, 15 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his
parents, 2 brothers, 1 sister, and grandson Justice Leclercq.
Mr. Leclercq lived in this are for 20 years after moving from Chicago. He had been a truck driver for Custom
Courier, and was a member of St. Andrew Church in Chicago.
Richard loved taking vacations to Las Vegas and tinkering in his garage, working in his yard, sitting on the porch,
but most of all he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Funeral services will held on Monday June 5, 2017 at 1:00 pm at Glenn E. George & Son Funeral Home, with
visitation on Sunday evening from 4-8:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in Whispering Hope Cemetery.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Shelby County Cancer Association in care of the funeral home.
