Norman “Mousie” Rouse, 84, of Shelbyville, passed away Monday, February 12, 2018, at Heritage House.
Born August 26, 1933 in Fairland, he was the son of Walter F. Rouse and Carolyn E. (Brown) Rouse. He
married Faye (Eads) Rouse on June 11, 1955, and she survives.
Other survivors include son Steven E. Rouse; brother in law Glenn Eads of Russell Springs, KY., sisters
in law Mildred Lawson of Russell Springs, Ilene Foley of Indianapolis, and Charlene Foley of Louisville.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and 2 brothers in law- Russell Eads, and David Eads.
Mr. Rouse had lived in this area his entire lifetime. He had been employed as a foreman at KCL Corp.
for 35 years, and later as a group leader at Ryobi Die Casting for 11 years, retiring in 1998. He graduated
from Waldron High School in 1951 and was a member of Waldron Baptist Church and the Eagles Lodge
Norman enjoyed bowling, and watching IU and Purdue basketball, and Indianapolis Colts football on TV.
Funeral services will be 1:00 pm on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at Glenn E. George & Son Funeral
Home, 437 Amos Road, with visitation there from 12:00 noon until the time of the service. Pastor Bill
Horner will officiate, and burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
