Michael Allen Kincade Sr.

Michael Allen “Slim” Kincade, Sr., 66, of Shelbyville, passed away Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at his residence.
Born April 22, 1951 in Shelbyville, he was the son of Billy Junior Kincade and Edna Jane (Neely) Hankins.  He
married Brenda (Hankins) Kincade on August 30, 1971 and she survives.
Other survivors include- 2 daughters Annette Goodwin (husband Donald) of Waldron, Tischa Deck of Shelbyville;
2 brothers Jerry Kincade of Shelbyville, Denny Kincade (wife Betty Jean) of Shelbyville, sister Beverly Mann of 
Shelbyville; 5 grandchildren Jonathon Hood, Kirsten Hood, Jayce Davis, Madison Deck, Corbin Deck; 2 great
grandchildren Alexander Hood and Autumn Newlon.  He was preceded in death by his parents, son Michael Allen
Kincade, Jr., brother Steve Kincade, and sister Rita Barnes.
Mr. Kincade was a lifetime resident of this area, and had worked in the maintenance department at Freudenburg
NOK for more than 36 years.  He attended Waldron High School.
Mike enjoyed hunting, fishing, the outdoors, and playing basketball in younger years.  He enjoyed watching sports
on TV and was an avid NASCAR, Indiana Pacers, and Indianapolis Colts fan.  He loved his family, his children, 
grandchildren, and great grandchildren, and enjoyed spending time with them.
Funeral services will be 3:00 pm Saturday, November 4, 2017, at Glenn E. George & Son Funeral Home, 437 Amos
Road, with Rev. David Humphrey officiating.  Visitation will be on Saturday from 1:00 pm until the time of the
funeral service.  
Memorial contributions can be made to OUR Hospice of South Central Indiana in care of the funeral home.
