Janice Wettrick, 64, of St. Paul, passed away Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at Waldron Health & Rehab.
Born January 2, 1953 in Shelbyville, she was the daughter of Raymond Joseph Wettrick, Jr., and Patricia Ann
Survivors include son Adam Wettrick (wife Danielle) of Crystal, Minnesota; sisters Sharon Wettrick of Indianapolis,
Elizabeth Wettrick of St. Paul, Laura Kessler of St. Paul, Brenda Moore (husband Kevin) of Franklin, brother
Raymond “Joe” Wettrick (wife Susan) of Shelbyville; granddaughter Morgan Rose Wettrick; 4 nieces, 3 nephews,
and several great nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Mrs. Wettrick had lived in this area her entire lifetime. She had been employed as a QMA and caregiver at Heritage
House Children’s Center for 21 years, retiring in 1996. She had been a beautician and also a QMA at Waldron
Health care for a few years. She graduated from Shelbyville High School in 1971, was a member of St. Vincent Catholic
Church, and St. Ann’s Alter Society and Prayer Ministry.
Janice was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler and Chicago Bears fan. She was very active in her church and church functions,
and loved her family and spending time with them.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 am Monday, December 18, 2017 at St. Vincent Catholic Church 4218 E. Michigan
Road, with Rev. Mike Keucher officiating. Burial will be in St. Vincent Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be observed on
Sunday evening, December 17, 2017 from 4:00 until 7:00 pm at Glenn E. George & Son Funeral Home, 437 Amos Road.
Rosary will be recited at 4:00 pm on Sunday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions can be made to Janice Wettrick Memorial Fund, Riley Children’s Hospital, or St. Vincent Catholic
Church, all in care of the funeral home.
