Gregory W. “Greg” Treon, 54, of Shelbyville, passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at Johnson Memorial Hospital in Franklin.
Born February 13, 1963 in Shelbyville, he was the son of Edward Treon and Beverly (Ray) Treon.
Survivors include his mother Beverly Treon of Shelbyville; 2 children- Pastor Robert Treon (wife Bonnie) of Plano, Texas, Kelley
Treon of Lakeland, Florida; brother Kevin Treon of Shelbyville; and one grandchild- Mackenzie Johnson. He was preceded in death
by his father Edward Treon.
Mr. Treon had lived in this area for 25 years, after moving from Florida. He had been a police officer, firefighter, and EMT. He graduated from
Tarpon Springs High School in 1981, and was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, and HAM Club of Shelbyville.
Greg enjoyed operating his HAM radio, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family.
A Celebration of Life was held on Monday, January 29, 2018 at Glenn E. George & Son Funeral Home, 437 Amos Road. Dr. Robb
Barlow and Pastor Robert Treon officiated.
Memorial contributions were made to Mt. Pisgah Building Fund in care of the funeral home.
