Eva June Tuley Sweet Greenfield, 92, of Shelbyville, passed away Friday 11/24/2017 at Waldron Health & Rehab.
Born September 15, 1925 in Osgood, she was the daughter of Henry Tuley and Jennie (Fishback) Tuley. She
married James S. Sweet and he passed away in 1974. She then married Randy Greenfield in South Carolina
and he preceded her in 2001.
Survivors include: son Bill Sweet (companion Doris) of Shelbyville; niece and caregiver Caroline “Sue” Glover of
Shelbyville; 3 grandchildren- Billy Sweet, Paula Morton, Kevin Sweet (wife Wendy); 9 great grandchildren, and
7 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 spouses, 13 brothers and sisters, and
grandson Tommy Sweet.
Mrs. Greenfield had lived in this area for 37 years, after moving from South Carolina. She had been a factory worker
at Overhead Door Corp. and General Electric for many years.
Eva was affectionally known as “Grammer Rock” to her grandchildren. She loved antiquing, attending flea markets,
traveling, and was an avid Major League Baseball and NASCAR fan.
A graveside service will be at 1:00 pm Wednesday, November 29, 2017, at Layton Cemetery in Rush County.
Rev. Harvey Weaver will officiate. There will be no calling hours observed.
